A Police officer working at the Alif Alif atoll Mathiveri Police Station has been arrested for threatening to leak nude photos and videos of his partner and blackmailing her.
A Police officer working at the Alif Alif atoll Mathiveri Police Station has been arrested for threatening to leak nude photos and videos of his partner and blackmailing her.
Police said that the arrested individual is a recruit, Zaidhan Mohamed from Mathiveri.
He was arrested for blackmail yesterday under a court order.
When presented to the Mathiveri Court, Zaidhan has been placed in remand in custody for a period of three days.
Police are conducting further investigations into this case.
