Privatization and Corporatization Board has today appointed TV Presenter and Deputy Minister at Local Government Ministry Aminath Namza to the post of Chairperson at Public Service Media (PSM).
Also appointed was Ibrahim Nasreen to the post of Managing Director at PSM.
Nasreen joined State media 14 years ago and has served as Chief Commercial Officer and e-Commerce Director.
At the time of his appointment, he was filling the post of Sales and Marketing Director at PSM.
He completed his PhD in Business in Malaysia this June.
The post of Chairperson was last filled by Ibrahim Hilmy, who was appointed by the previous government in January 2019. He was dismissed by the board in January after the change in administration.
Nasreen has been appointed to lead PSM after Mohamed Saeed, who previously filled the position, resigned last Tuesday. Saeed resigned just four months into his tenure due to health reasons.
