Leaders of Maldives Police Intelligence and Investigative departments led from their positions on Tuesday.
Directorate of Intelligence Head was previously Assistant Commissioner of Police Mohamed Jamsheed. He was replaced by Abdul Mannan Yusuf who was promoted to the rank of deputy commissioner of Police on Monday.
Crime Investigation Command was led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Ahmed Mohamed up until Tuesday. The position is now filled by Chief Superintendent of Police, Mohamed Basheer.
Neither of the dismissed officers has been reappointed to other positions within the Maldives Police Service.
