An amendment to the Political Parties Act has been submitted, proposing that the primary colors and emblems of dissolved political parties may not be used by another political party within five years of the party being dissolved.

This proposed change, part of the Political Parties Act amendment bill, is currently under review in Parliament's committee stage.
