Three vehicles have been severely damaged in a road accident where a van collided with a car in Hulhumale' Phase 1 today at approximately 06:20 hrs.
Police have said that the accident occurred when a van driving down Nirolhu Magu rammed into a car. The car then lost control and careened into a car parked on the side of the road. As a result, all three vehicles received major damage.
Drivers of both the van and the car sustained minor injuries, according to the police. The individuals are Maldivian men aged 46 and 52.
Police further confirmed that both drivers possess valid driving licenses.
Police have said that they are further investigating circumstances surrounding the accident.
