Amendment allowing hasty impeachment of President revised

The amendment brought about by the 19th parliament which allowed an expedited process of impeaching the president and vice president has been revised by the 20th parliament which took oath this year.

Following the general committee's efforts to change the existing procedures on impeachment brought in effect by the 19th parliament, the committee's report detailed that members identified the duration set for the process of impeachment to be insufficient.
