A committee has been formed to investigate the death of one youth and the serious conditions of two more while undergoing MNDF training in Maafilaafushi, Lhaviyani Atoll.
Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) said that as the military training is arduous and risky, the students are also selected after conducting physical and medical tests ensuring that they are capable to join the training.

A committee of field experts have been formed to investigate the incident.
"More details regarding the case can be shared once the committee's work is completed," the message said.
