Malé City Council has decided to close off various parts of Majeedhee Magu in the coming days to fix the flooding issues on the road.

Malé City Council has decided to close off various parts of Majeedhee Magu in the coming days to fix the flooding issues on the road.
In an announcement on Wednesday, the council said that the road closure would start from today onwards until next Saturday, and that traffic flow has been changed up from Chaandhanee Magu to Rah-dhebai Magu.
As such, the road would be closed from Dhanburu Magu to Nikagas Magu, in the Malé Grand Flat area.
This is the area that floods the most during the rainy season in Malé.
Malé City Council started fixing the city's flood-prone roads last week.
