Newly appointed Maldivian Ambassador Aishath Mohamed Didi on Friday presented her credentials to Indian President Ram Nath Kovind.
Aishath presented her credentials during a special ceremony held at the presidential palace Rashtrapati Bhavan.
During the meeting, President Kovind welcome Ambassador Aishath and extended greetings to Maldives and the people.
Ambassador Aishath assured that she would work to strengthen the existing ties between the countries during her time in office.
Aisthath is the first female ambassador appointed to India.
