A cargo boat of Reethi Beach Resort caught fire Friday and was damaged significantly.
Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) said that there were three Maldivians and one expatriate on board when the fire broke out, and all four had jumped into the sea. No one was injured according to MNDF.
MNDF noted that the fire started from the engine.
Investigations are underway to find out the cause of this fire.
