Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital has said today that the Police recruit who was brought in in serious condition while he was in Police training at Dh. Vaanee is now on ventilator support.
The recruit was first taken to the Atoll Hospital in Dh. Kudahuvadhoo when his condition worsened. He was later transferred to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in Male' for further medical attention.
A IGMH Media Official said today that the recruit is currently in the Intensive Care Unit, on ventilator support.
No further details were disclosed.
