Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has concluded its probe into the complaints received regarding the allocation of Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) built flats.

After concluding their investigation after spending approximately two months on it, ACC sent a correspondence to the Ministry of Housing, Land and Urban Development on Thursday afternoon detailing their findings, instructions and recommendations.

ACC revealed tonight that it has ordered the Ministry to refer to certain factors in issuing the FDC flats.

These are;

- no changes should come to the consensus on forms that were granted points in accordance with fundamental policies and requirements

- review forms that are found to have issues

- establish a course of action to be taken in cases where the response to a particular issue is not explicitly stipulated in the guidelines

- to act without favour or discrimination when reviewing forms

ACC said that sharing the details of their instructions and findings with the public is at the discretion of the ministry.

Deliberations have begun: Housing Ministry

In an abrupt statement released late on Thursday night, the Housing Ministry said that deliberations regarding the correspondence from ACC have begun.

They said that further details would be revealed in the coming week.

The ACCs findings were shared with the ministry after the end of official hours on the last day of the working week.

Meanwhile, FDC have said on January 23 that the flat agreements have been drafted, and will be ready for signing in three days after the ACC finishes its investigation.
