Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid departed Tuesday to Saudi Arabia, to participate in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)'s Foreign Ministers Meeting.
The sit-down between top diplomats of OIC's member states is scheduled for May 29, ahead of the 14th session of OIC's Islamic Summit Conference slated for May 31 in the city of Mecca.
Prior to his departure, the foreign minister stated in a tweet that the meetings will focus on a wide range of issues facing the Islamic community around the world.
The ministry did not disclose further details pertaining to the Foreign Ministers Meeting.
