Maldives Airports Company Limited has joined the 'Roadha Saafu' program, under which staff members are cleaning areas at the Velana International Airport ahead of the upcoming month of Ramadan.
The 'Roadha Saafu' program is organized by the Ministry of Cities, Local Government, and Public Works in collaboration with the Ministry of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage.
Over 500 staff members of MACL will be joining in the efforts to clean up the airport.
MACL said that they had opted to join the Roadha Saafu program so as to maintain the airport's cleanliness to provide a pleasant experience for passengers and staff.
MACL frequently holds clean up programs under the 'Green Airport' initiative.
