The incident occurred in the northern atolls.
Police have not made any statements regarding the case as of yet.
However, the Ministry of Family and Social Development confirmed to Mihaaru News that such a case is being investigated in collaboration with Police. No details regarding the case were disclosed.
A ministry official said that the four children are now being provided psychological support.
In cases involving children, the islands where the incident occurred are not revealed so as to protect the identity of children.
