Ten officials of the Parliament, on Monday, began their training at the Parliamentary Research and Training Institute for Democracies (PRIDE) at India's lower house of Parliament Lok Sabha, New Delhi.
The five-day training programme is held under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Parliament Speaker Mohamed Nasheed and includes modules in legislative drafting, software and information and communications technology (ICT) management.
The agreement aims to bolster relations between the legislative bodies and further increase the technical capacity of the secretariat staff.
