Apple announced on Tuesday an extended cooperation with US companies that supply key materials and components for the iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro.

"Apple today announced new and expanded partnerships with American companies that are supplying critical materials and components for iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro," the company said in a statement.

In particular, Apple is working with Pennsylvania-based Perryman Company, a titanium supplier, and Delaware-based Qnity Electronics, which will be helping to produce technology for the new iPhone 18 Pro camera, the statement added.

In total, Apple is partnering with suppliers across all 50 US states, the company noted.

By 2030, Apple aims to become carbon neutral, which is why all direct suppliers are required to power their manufacturing with renewable energy, the statement continued.

Founded in 1976, Apple produces personal and tablet computers, audio players, phones, smart watches, and software.
