Tesla owner Elon Musk promised that the company's electric sports car, the Roadster, would be capable of performing stunts and be sentient.

"True. You will be able to ask the Roadster to perform any of the tricks shown autonomously, as it will be sentient," Musk said on X.

He also noted that there would be a special track featuring "loops" at Tesla headquarters in Texas, where customers will be able to test the new vehicle.

During a presentation held this week, the Roadster was shown flying over an obstacle while performing a full rotation, as well as driving up a curved ramp and "jumping" off it.

The presentation also featured a video showing the Roadster accelerating from 0 to 60 miles per hour (approximately 97 kilometers per hour) in 0.81 seconds.

Tesla plans to begin mass production of the model in 2028.
