Few countries in the European Union are willing to walk the talk and actually increase financial aid to Ukraine, Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten said on Friday.
"I am not yet satisfied with the number of countries that are actually ready to allocate additional funds to increase financial aid to Ukraine," Jetten told reporters on the sidelines of the EU summit in Brussels.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in August that European countries were growing weary of financing Ukraine. Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vassily Nebenzia said that Kiev's sponsors were tired of the Ukrainian topic but were forced to keep it on the table "so that no one forgets."
