In his message of condolence to the Vice President of Iran Mohammad Mokhber, President Muizzu acknowledged 'the deep void in the sudden demise of President Raisi would leave in the hearts of the Iranian people'.
He expressed appreciation for the resolute decisions that President Raisi had stood by, which President Muizzu described as having 'upheld the values of Islam'.

Malik Rahmati, governor of Iran’s East Azerbaijan Province, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Al-Hashem, representative of the Iranian supreme leader to East Azerbaijan and the Friday Prayer Leader of Tabriz also passed away in the crash.
