STO said it noticed fake Makita brand tools circulating in the market and warned that the fake tools do not guarantee proper benefits and had no guarantee of safety. The company has also advised consumers to ensure that the brand’s products are original before purchasing them to avoid a potential hazard caused by fake tools.

Original Makita brand products are be available at STO outlets and through STO authorised dealers.

To maintain the quality of the brand's products, STO Service Center provides after sales services as well. The service is only available for Makita brand products purchased from STO or through STO authorized dealers.
