Health Protection Agency (HPA) on Sunday announced that 1,091 tested positive for COVID-19, while 307 people recovered.
That was the highest number of positive cases recorded in Maldives within a 24 hour period. HPA had said out of over 1,000 recorded cases today, 300 cases fall under backlogs of sample taken from 48 hours ago while 791 samples that tested positive were taken within the previous 24 hours.
