Maziya beat Eagles 6-1 with a comeback in the final half, winning the FAM Under-19 Championship.

This is the second time Maziya have won the Youth Championship. They first won in 2011 in the under 21 tournament. Later in 2014 and 2017, they lost to Eagles in the finals - a team with a record five wins in the championship.

The first championship was won in 2011 in the Under-21 tournament. They have since played in the finals in 2014 and 2017, losing to the Eagles. The Eagles have won the Youth Championship a record five times.

Eagles took the lead early in the final match played at the Galolhu Stadium yesterday. The goal was scored by captain Mohamed Shamhan. However, Maziya scored six goals in the second half and secured the title as champions, marking the biggest difference ever seen in a Youth Championship final.

Maziya's captain Eedhan Ahmed Moosa scored the equaliser. Anoof Abdullah, who was also named player of the match, scored two goals while Nassaah Ibrahim Nasir scored the fourth goal. He also assisted on four goals in the game.

Mohamed Ilan Imran scored the last two goals totalling the 16-year-old's total goals in the tournament to nine.

Maziya's Ibrahim Saeed (Kaka Coach) was named the best coach of the tournament. They won all four of their group stage matches and drew with Odi Sports Club in the semi-finals, reaching the final with penalties.

Odi Sports Club was named the fair play team while their captain Mohamed Rawaau was also named in the top 11 "dream team" of the tournament.

Besides Odi Sports' Rawau, the dream team also includes TC Sports Club's captain Naail Yoosuf, Eagles' Ash-ham Ibrahim Mohamed, Mohamed Aiman Hassan, captain Mohamed Shamhan and goalkeeper Zahran Hassan Ziad Arif. Maziya's Ilaan, Anoof, Alsan Ibrahim, Ahmed Hamees Areef and Captain Eedhan were also named in the dream team.
