Fire in Malé City residence extinguished

The Fire and Rescue division of Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) has successfully extinguished a fire that erupted in a Malé City residence on Monday, October 16.

MNDF said it received report of the fire in a Machchangolhi district house next to the RedWave Plaze around 11:40 a.m. on Monday morning.

The fire's origin was corroborated by a Mihaaru News reporter present on site as well.

Although four residents lived in the house, no one was injured in the incident, the reporter added.

Besides damages to the roof of neighboring cafe, no other property damages were reported in the incident.
