In the Golden Futsal Challenge 2025, defending champion B. Eydhafushi won their first match.

B. Atoll's competition began Friday evening, with Eydhafushi defeating Thulhaadhoo 1-0 in the first match. Hussain Shareef scored the only goal for Eydhafushi.

Three teams are competing in this atoll round, with Fehendhoo being the third team. The B. Atoll final will be played on the night of the 30th between the two teams with the best results after playing a league round among the three teams.

Eydhafushi had also played in the Golden Futsal Charity Shield match that opened this year's tournament. They lost that match to L. Gan.

Friday also marked the start of Dh. Atoll's competition, which features three teams. The first match of this atoll was between Bandidhoo and Maenboodhoo. Maenboodhoo won this match with 12-0.

The other team in Dh. Atoll is the recent atoll champion, Kudahuvadhoo. This atoll's final match is scheduled for the night of the 29th.

First Victory Gives Utheemu Hope for HA. Atoll Semi-finals

After drawing their first two matches in HA. Atoll Group B, Utheemu has maintained their hopes of securing a semi-final spot by defeating Muraidhoo 5-0 Friday night, with Mohamed Aalim Abdullah scoring a hat-trick. In the other match of this group, defending atoll champion Dhidhdhoo defeated Ihavandhoo 6-1.

With this result, Group B is led by Vashafaru with seven points from three matches. Dhidhdhoo has six points from three matches. Utheemu is in third place with five points from three matches. Muraidhoo wrapped up the tournament with three points from four matches, while Ihavandhoo sits at the bottom with just one point from three matches.

Utheemu will play their final group stage match against Dhidhdhoo on Tuesday evening. At the same time, Vashafaru will face Ihavandhoo.

In this atoll's Group A, Hoarafushi drew 2-2 with Kelaa Friday night. And Filladhoo defeated Baarah 4-2.

Group A is led by Kelaa with seven points from three matches. Second-placed Maarandhoo has six points from three matches. Filladhoo has four points from three matches, while Baarah has three points from three matches. Hoarafushi has finished the tournament with two points from four matches.

The final two matches of this group are scheduled for Tuesday evening, with Maarandhoo facing Filladhoo and Kelaa playing against Baarah.

HDh. Atoll - Latest Runner-up Nolhivaram Eliminated After Loss to Kumundhoo

HDh. Atoll's latest runner-up, Nolhivaram, has been eliminated from the tournament with one match remaining in the group stage after losing 3-0 to Kumundhoo on Friday night.

Nolhivaram, in Group B, sits in fourth place with three points from three matches, and even if they defeat Vaikaradhoo in their final group stage match, they cannot secure second place in the group.

Vaikaradhoo, placed ahead of Nolhivaram, has four points from three matches. Kumundhoo is in second place with seven points from three matches.

Defending atoll champion Naivaadhoo secured a semifinal spot by defeating Nehlaidhoo 6-1, reaching nine points. Nehlaidhoo has lost all their group stage matches. Naivaadhoo will face Kumundhoo in their final group stage match.

In this atoll's Group A, Neykurendhoo has secured a semi-final spot as the group's top team. Neykurendhoo won their match on Friday night 5-1 against Nolhivaranfaru.

Neykurendhoo has won all three matches played so far, collecting nine points, while Makunudhoo is in second place with five points from three matches after drawing 1-1 with Finey.

Nolhivaranfaru is third in the group with four points from four matches. Finey has two points from three matches, while Hanimaadhoo has only one point from three matches.

The final two matches of this group are scheduled for Tuesday night, with Neykurendhoo facing Makunudhoo and Hanimaadhoo playing against Finey.
