Set to begin on June 22, this year’s program will accommodate 25 apprentices.
Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has launched its 'Apprenticeship Program 2025' as part of its corporate social responsibility.
Open to Maldivians aged 18 to 35, the six-month program provides practical training in four key technical fields including: road vehicle repair, marine vessel engine repair, and refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics.
Participants will receive a Level III certificate upon completion, along with a monthly stipend of MVR 6,000.
HDC said the program is designed to equip participants with both the skills and experience needed to enter the workforce and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s technical sectors.
Set to begin on June 22, this year’s program will accommodate 25 apprentices.
This is the eighth year that the apprentice program is organized by HDC.
