Dhiraagu has opened the first Tier 4 certified data center in Maldives.

The center, located in Hulhumale', was inaugurated by the Minister of Homeland Security and Technology, Ali Ihusan.

Tier 4 certification is the highest standard for data center reliability, awarded by the Uptime Institute, which recognizes the world’s most reliable and high-quality data centers.

This certification underscores Dhiraagu’s commitment to providing world-class and reliable services to its customers, elevating the standard of data center infrastructure in Maldives.

Minister Ihusan hailed the opening of the center as a historic achievement for the nation. He said that the Maldivian government is focused on strengthening the country's digital economy by providing top-tier services to businesses.

He also noted that, like many other countries globally, Maldives is working to bolster its digital infrastructure, positioning itself on par with international standards.

Dhiraagu’s CEO and Managing Director, Ismail Rasheed, emphasized that the Tier 4 certification demonstrates the strength, reliability, and security of the new data center. He added that the facility would enhance business continuity, making it more convenient for users of cloud services and various applications.

The new certification strengthens the resilience and security of Dhiraagu's cloud IaaS offerings, empowering businesses to operate seamlessly and access vital applications.

It also provides entrepreneurs with access to cutting-edge services at competitive prices, helping them thrive in the evolving digital economy.
