In the match played at the Social Centre last night, HDC won the first set with 17-25. However, Sifainge Club rallied and won the next 3 sets. These sets were won with 21-25, 16-25 and 23-25.
Sifainge Club are the reigning champions of the National Volleyball League 2021 and that year's national tournament as well. However, in the 2024 league, HDC won the championship with last night's results.
This year's national tournament featured the best four teams from National Volleyball League 2024. These are Sifainge Club, HDC, Sports Club City and Blues for Volleyball.
Sifainge Club made it to the finals through defeating Sports Club City with three sets. HDC went to the finals as the first place team in the tournament's league round.
The best three players are Sifainge Club's Hussain Razaan, setter Hussain Shahid and HDC's Ismail Sajid (Kuda Kaattey). The best player in the Under 19s category is Blues for Volleyball's Ahmed Ilham Ali. The best foreign player is Sifainge Clubs's Mohamed Hamad, and the best coach is Sifainge Club's Mumtaz Ali.
