Minister of Cities, Local Government and Public Works Adam Shareef has said that efforts are underway to complete distribution of tuna can cases to households in the Male' area by the end of Monday.
Tuna can cases are being gifted to households as Ramadan gifts by the government this year.
In a post on X last night, Shareef said that the target is to complete distribution by the end of Monday.
"Roadha gifts will reach all islands of GDh and GA atolls [today]. With that, the entire country will be covered," he said.
As of Tuesday this week, over 40,000 cases had been distributed in the Male' area, the Minister said yesterday.
