Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands has been awarded two MICHELIN Keys at the 2026 MICHELIN Key Awards.
The resort earlier was honoured by one MICHELIN Key in 2025, and this year's step up places it amongst the world's most outstanding hotels.

The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands stressed that since opening in 2021, it has established a unique approach to classic Maldivian hospitality, bringing together award-winning design, first-class service through its Ladies and Gentlemen and Aris Meha island butlers, innovative gastronomy and wellness, culture and conservation.
“We are deeply honoured to receive Two MICHELIN Keys, particularly as this recognition reflects the evolution of our resort and the dedication of our Ladies and Gentlemen," Oscar Postma, General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands stated.

"For us, exceptional hospitality is not defined by any single element; it is the way every detail comes together and connects our guests to the island – from the care of our Aris Meeha and the design of our villas to the people and ideas we bring to the island through Masters of Crafts, our culinary experiences and our commitment to the natural environment. This is a wonderful acknowledgement of the passion, creativity and care our team brings to life every day.”
After months of anonymous inspections and reviews, the MICHELIN Key Awards were unveiled on September 18, expanding to North America, Europe, Asia, and nearly 100 more global markets.

The accolade places Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands within a select group of just 657 hotels worldwide earning two MICHELIN Keys in 2026, recognizing an exceptional and distinctive guest experience.
