Aysha Al Obeidli, who is dubbed as UAE's youngest chef is set to showcase her talents at a Maldivian resort for the upcoming Eid holidays.
According to the UAE news, Khaleej Times, the 13 year old chef will be welcomed by JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa in a unique collaboration with the Maldivian chef of the resort, Aminath Abdul Rasheed.
In preparation for the event, a fair is scheduled to be held at the resort in July with an ensemble of Arabic and Maldivian dishes.
Bir Yadav, the resort's Executive Chef stated "We are extremely excited to team up with Chef Aysha to present a unique menu in conjunction to the Eid Al Adha celebration on the island, and to combine her expertise with our skilled Maldivian Chef for a local touch This is a great opportunity for our people to showcase the culture behind the cuisines of the two countries."
Both chefs will collaborate to craft an Arabian-Maldivian fusion menu that will be available for guests to at Aailaa, the resort’s all-day dining venue, between July 2 and July 12.
A cooking class will also be held for younger guests visiting the resort, who will be able to learn from Chef Aisha first-hand.
Chef Aisha is a student of the International Center for Culinary Arts in Dubai. With more than 125,000 followers on Instagram, she is the winner of the UAE cooking competition, "KidZania MiniChef" in 2018. She won the title of UAE's youngest chef after winning the competition.
