Reethi Faru Resort, operated by Mahogany Pvt Ltd, announced its reopening slated for October 1.

According to the resort, their team is "putting the final touches on the reopening safety pledge taken to ensure a safe holiday experience" for its guests.

In addition to freedom of space, in order to safely observe social distance, the resort's enhanced safety protocols include online check-ins and other contactless services.

"We have put the 'Reethi Faru Hygiene and Safety Protocol' in place...this is fully compliant with the guidelines from World Health Organization, local health authorities and Tourism Associations", said the resort in a press release.

"Additionally, we have put a dedicated COVID-19 response team to eliminate any uncertainty that you may have on your upcoming holiday with us at Reethi Faru Resort".

In order to assist its visitors in fulfilling requirements set forth by airlines and countries for travellers to provide a negative PCR test, the resort will facilitate in-island PCR testing.

"All consideration has been made to ensure your 'one island, one resort' experience remains that of a true holiday in paradise", said Reethi Faru.

Situated in Raa Atoll, the 4-star resort prides itself on privacy and as a "bio luxury island paradise", offering guests with a selection of 12 restaurants and bars, as well as a 5-star dive centre.

In late 2019, Reethi Faru Resort was conferred the title of 'Luxury Honeymoon Resort' by the World Luxury Hotel Awards from its 'Global' category.
