Centerview Partners was founded in 2006, and is a leading financial advisor to various international companies, as well as countries, At present, the firm has 60 partners and over 400 financial experts.
The government has also previously announced a reform agenda to deal with the debt and financial difficulties currently being faced. However, these remain to be implemented.
Latest statistics of the Finance Ministry indicate that the total debt of Maldives is at MVR 126 billion.
