Ooredoo Nation Ultimate Gaming Festival to be held this Friday

The festival will feature tournaments in PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), and EAFC, along with a cosplay competition. In addition to the tournament prizes, the Best Player of the Year will also be crowned at the event.

Maldives' biggest gaming festival, Ooredoo Nation Games Land 2024, is set to take place this Friday and Saturday.

The event will bring together top gamers and teams to compete in the Ooredoo Nation Contender Series for a prize pool of MVR 240,000.

The festival will feature tournaments in PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), and EAFC, along with a cosplay competition. In addition to the tournament prizes, the Best Player of the Year will also be crowned at the event.

The Ooredoo Nation Contender Series offers a prize of MVR 50,000 for the champion, while the second-place winner will receive MVR 20,000. The third and fourth-place winners will receive MVR 15,000 and MVR 10,000, respectively.

The winners of the MLBB and EAFC tournaments will each receive MVR 20,000, with the second and third-place winners taking home MVR 15,000 and MVR 10,000. The MVPs of the three tournaments will also receive MVR 5,000 each.

The festival’s cosplay competition will award the best participants, with the first-place winner receiving MVR 5,000. The second-place winner will receive MVR 3,000, and the third-place winner will receive MVR 2,000. Additionally, the event will name the Ooredoo Nation Ultimate Player, who will receive a grand prize of MVR 30,000.

After a successful debut last year, Ooredoo Nation has continued to expand its gaming initiatives by organizing various esports tournaments throughout the year. Ooredoo Nation was launched as a platform to promote gaming and provide local and international esports opportunities for Maldivians in the gaming scene.
