The First Lady made these remarks while attending a ceremony at Orange Hiyaa today to mark 52 weeks of work of civil servants at the Ministry of Health.
In her speech, she recognized the dedication and hard work of health professionals, urging continued cooperation to work alongside policy-level workers.
Effective November 15, the import of vapes, e-cigarettes and related products are now banned in the Maldives.
Subsequently, the use, distribution and sale of those products will also be banned from December 15 onwards.
