Police Club advanced to the final after a win over Goodies Sports Club yesterday, defeating them 25-6, 25-6, and 25-5. Club WAMCO secured their spot after winning against Himmafushi Victorious Sports Club with scores of 25-15, 25-16, and 25-12.
This year’s league marks the return of the Women's Division after a six-year hiatus, featuring six teams competing for the title.
Volleyball Youth New Generation currently holds third place with two wins, including a victory over Asdhigaa Sports Club with scores of 25-16, 25-17, and 25-8. Himmafushi Victorious and Asdhigaa Sports Club have each won one match, while Goodies Sports Club have yet to secure a win.
Before the final, two more matches will be played today. Youth New Generation will face Goodies at 15:30 hrs, and Asdhigaa will go up against Himmafushi Victorious at 17:00 hrs.
The top four teams from the league will qualify for the national tournament and next year’s Association Cup final round.
