President-elect Dr. Muizzu meets with British Ambassador

President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu met with the British High Commissioner to the Maldives, Caron Rohsler, yesterday morning at the Office of the President-elect. Vice President-elect Hussain Mohamed Latheef was also present at the meeting.

According to the Office of the president-elect, the British High Commissioner congratulated Dr. Muizzu on his victory in the presidential election on behalf of the British government, the people and herself. The High Commissioner expressed her hope that relations between the UK and the Maldives will be further strengthened during Dr. Muizzu's presidential term.
