A City official, speaking to Adhadhu News, alleged that two players who had competed in other teams during the VAM Cup Qualification were now included in the Sifainge Club. City had appealed to VAM to take action against this.
As VAM failed to respond to this appeal, City decided to forfeit the match in protest.
Sifainge Club made it to the finals through winning against City in the first semifinal match played last Friday.
