Maldives National Esports team has departed for the World Esports Championships in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Beond Airlines.
The airline announced that it has arranged travel to and from Saudi Arabia to support the Maldives team at the global esports event.
Beond Airlines said this initiative is part of its commitment to support the youth in various sectors across the Maldives and contribute to the development of youth skills.
The World Esports Championship offers the team an opportunity to compete against players from around the world and showcase the Maldives’ gaming talent on the international stage.
Beond CEO Tero Taskila expressed pride in supporting the team by offering the best travel arrangements for the Maldivian team as they represent the Maldives abroad. Beond is committed to supporting various initiatives aimed at empowering youth, he said.
The team is set to return to the Maldives on November 26 aboard Beond Airlines.
