The categories include:
- Villa College Open Scholarship
- Villa College/Villa International High School Scholarship
- Villa College Alumni Scholarship
- Scholarship for Individuals with Determination
- STEM and Healthcare Equity Scholarship
- Scholarship for Underprivileged Students
- International Student Category
Scholarships are open to Maldivian students in all categories except the International Student Scholarship.
Applications are open until the end of December.
- Villa College Open Scholarship
This scholarship offers an opportunity to study one of the college's master's programmes. Two scholarships will be awarded in this category, based on academic achievement.
- Villa College/Villa International High School Scholarship
This scholarship is open to students currently studying A-levels at Villa International High School or those who completed their A-levels there within the past two years and wish to pursue a degree at Villa College.
Two scholarships are available in this category, with priority given to students based on their A-level results.
- Villa College Alumni Scholarship
This category is designed for Villa College graduates looking to pursue a master’s degree. Two scholarships are available, awarded based on academic performance.
- Scholarship for Individuals with Determination
This scholarship supports individuals with disabilities in pursuing higher education. It offers two opportunities to study for a degree at Villa College.
Eligibility is limited to those listed on the National Disability Register or certified as disabled by a licensed medical professional. Selection criteria include academic commitment despite disability-related challenges, community involvement, and educational achievement.
- STEM and Healthcare Equity Scholarship
This category aims to promote gender diversity in fields typically dominated by one gender, such as nursing, computer science, and engineering.
Two scholarships are available for degree programmes in these fields, awarded based on academic performance, with priority given to underrepresented genders in the respective professions.
- Scholarship for Underprivileged Students
This scholarship supports students who face financial challenges in pursuing higher education. Two scholarships are available for degree programmes.
Selection is based on the applicant’s financial circumstances and academic performance.
- International Student Category
This category offers two scholarships for international students pursuing a degree programme at Villa College. Selection is based on academic performance.
Applicants must submit an offer letter confirming admission to their chosen course, along with other required documents.
