Speaking during his visit to Hulhudhuffaaru in Raa atoll this morning, as part of his tour of the atoll, the President said that his policy of prioritizing the facilitation of services and development projects resonates with the aspirations of the people.
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has reiterated his commitment to implementing projects in line with the expectations and needs of the people.
Speaking during his visit to Hulhudhuffaaru in Raa atoll this morning, as part of his tour of the atoll, the President said that his policy of prioritizing the facilitation of services and development projects resonates with the aspirations of the people.
Addressing the residents of Hulhudhuffaaru, President Muizzu assured them that his administration is focused on delivering projects that align with the people's vision.
“I’ve always thought about finding ways to facilitate things the way the people think, the way the people want,” he said.
He said that the purpose of visiting islands and engaging with councils and residents is to ensure that development initiatives are carried out in accordance with their wishes.
President Muizzu expressed his determination to fulfill the expectations of the people and to make every effort to achieve their goals.
“I am working to fulfill the expectations of the people, to facilitate things for the people, to achieve things for the people's goals. So I give you that hope with great confidence,” he said.
During the meeting, the President said that ongoing and upcoming projects for the island will be expedited.
An agreement with the island council for the installation of Bank of Maldives (BML) and Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) ATMs in Hulhudhuffaaru was also signed.
