Four atolls finals will be played tonight, including Thaa, Laamu, Lhaviyani Atoll and Baa Atolls.
Meemu atoll Dhiggaru, Faafu atoll Dharanboodhoo and Dhaalu atoll Kudahuvadhoo have won the atoll championship in Golden Futsal Challenge 2025.
Dhiggaru defeated defending champions Mulah in a penalty shootout during the Meemu Atoll finals. The match ended in a 1-1 draw and Dhiggaru won with a score of 4-3 on penalties.
The best player of Meemu Atoll was Ibrahim Riffath of Dhigurah. Sujuan Hussain from Mulah scored the most goals.
Dharanboodhoo won the Faafu Atoll championship by defeating Magoodhoo 2-1. Muzdan Hassan from Dharanboodhoo was named best player and top scorer from the atoll. Mohamed Zeedhan Zuhuree from Bilehdhoo won the joint top scorer award.
Kudahuvadhoo defended the championship by defeating Maaemboodhoo 3-2 in the final. Mohamed Areesh from Kudahuvadhoo won the best player of the atoll while Aamil Ali from Maaemboodhoo won the top scorer award.
Four atolls finals will be played tonight, including Thaa Atoll final between Thimarafushi and Hirilandhoo and the Laamu Atoll final between Gan and Isdhoo. Followed by Lhaviyani Atoll final between Naifaru and Kurendhoo and Baa Atoll final between Thulhaadhoo and Eydhafushi.
