The teams going forward to play in the semifinals are Group 1 winner Gn. Fuvahmulah Dhandimagu, runner up G.Dh. Vaadhoo, Group 2 winner S. Hithadhoo and runner up S. Feydhoo.
Dhandimagu defeated GA. Vilin'gili with a 0-3 score last night, securing 7 points in three matches. In the same group, GDh. Vaadhoo played against GA. Dhevvadhoo and ended the match with a 1-1 draw. Vaadhoo got four points while Dhevvadhoo got three. Vilin'gili finished without securing a single point.
Hithadhoo, who won in Group 2, beat Feydhoo 6-nil last night and got 6 points. Hithadhoo's Ali Shanaan scored four goals in the match. Feydhoo became group runner up through securing three points by defeating Gahdhoo in the first match.
Dhandimagu will play against Feydhoo in the semi finals, with Hithadhoo and Vaadhoo meeting. The semi finals are scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
Two Zone 2 matches were played last night. Leading the Zone is Raa atoll champion Inguraidhoo and runner up Dhuvaafaru.
Both teams won both matches played so far. Dhuvaafaru beat Noonu champion Miladhoo with a 1-5 score last night and secured 6 points. Inguraidhoo remains in the lead with goal difference.
Third in this five team zone is Kanditheemu who beat Milandhoo 1-5 last night and secured 3 points from 3 matches. Miladhoo and Milandhoo each have a point.
In Zone 4, Mathiveri has made it to semifinals even as there remains one more match for the team to play.
Beating V. Keyodhoo with the sole goal scored by Abdulla Faizan Abdul Ghafoor, Mathiveri has got 9 points.
Second in the Zone is Mahibadhoo with 6 points. Last night, Mahibadhoo beat Thoddoo with 1-2. Third is Keyodhoo, with three points from three matches.
