The HA. Dhidhdhoo team has maintained an undefeated streak on their home turf, with coach Moosa Ibrahim stating their biggest target now is to secure a win on the island.

This is Dhidhdhoo's first time competing in the Dhivehi Premier League (DPL), where they won their first game in Male' against Buru Sports Club. They drew both of the games they played on their home turf.

Dhidhdhoo won against against New Radiant, a team with a strong and experienced squad, in their first home game. They came close to beating Eagles in their second home match but conceded a late equalizer after losing their lead. The draw was the only match Eagles failed to win.

Dhidhdhoo coach Ibrahim said the team aims to maintain its unbeaten home record while securing its first home win. He said they are determined to claim all three points against TC in today’s match.

However, he did highlight that the match against TC will be difficult.

“TC are a historic club with a very good coach. They also have players who have represented the national team at various age-group levels, as well as the senior team,” Ibrahim said.

He went on to say that the Dhidhdhoo team remains steadfast in securing a win, even though they will be facing a difficult team that has experience in the First Division.

"We desire a win. The coaching team is preparing each day for the possibility that we may lose the three points we have at the last minute. We are in this situation because of various reasons as well," said Ibrahim while speaking at the pre-match conference held at Dhidhdhoo.

He continued by stating the Dhidhdhoo team needs experienced players from the First Division to change the situation they have been put in for various reasons. He said that the team only has one such player.

Ibrahim highlighted that the team mostly has players who are employed at resorts, and he has said before that the players connect with the team on match day itself.

"Even so, we are hopeful that we will win the match against TC and maintain our home turf three-match streak. I have complete confidence," Ibrahim said.

After today's match, Dhidhdhoo's next three matches will be played at Male'. Once the SAFF Championship ends and the league kicks off once more, Dhidhdoo will be playing against Maziya in Male'.
