With a 3-nil win against TC, Maziya has once again emerged as a contender in the race to the top.

Prior to the match against TC, Maziya lost points in both of their previous matches. They lost to New Radiant and drew to a tie with Victory, results that blocked their path to winning the league.

In yesterday afternoon's Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League match at the National Stadium, Maziya once again secured a spot in the race to the top. The team's first goal was scored by Ibrahim Mahdhy Hussain (Feydhoo Ibbe') in the 34th minute.

Maziya further strengthened their performance in the second half and scored two goals. In the 70th minute, Serbia's Nemanja Zdravkovic scored the team's second goal of the match, while the third goal was scored in the 79th minute by substitute player Nigerian Benjamin Thomas Kuku.

Since their win against Maziya before the international break, New Radiant has failed to secure a spot in the race in to the top. They ended both of their most recent matches with ties.

Last night's match featuring New Radiant against Odi Sports ended with a 2-2 draw. The match before this, where New Radiant faced off against Dhihdhoo also ended with the same score.

In last night's match at the National Stadium, Ahzam Rasheed scored a goal at the start of the second half and took the lead for Odi.

The lead lasted no more than two minutes, with Dorielton Gomes scoring a goal for New Radiant and equalizing the score.

At the 57th minute, Muzdhan Hassan scored a goal, taking back Odi's lead.

However, the 89th minute of the match saw New's defender Amdhan Ali (Andy) score the team's second goal.
