Club Eagles and Biss Buru Sports Club won the Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League (DPL) games they played yesterday and last night.

Eagles won 2-0 against Gadhdhoo at the Gadhdhoo Football Ground yesterday evening.

Gadhdhoo was able to hold the Eagles back for the first half, but the Eagles changed the result in the second half.

Ismail Easa (Easa) scored the first goal of the game in the 68th minute. Mohamed Jailam scored the second goal during extra time.

Gadhdhoo has lost three of the league matches they have played. All three matches were played at their own stadium. The team will be coming to Male' after these three matches.

The league will continue on 9th October, once the upcoming international break ends. Gadhdhoo will be playing against Odi Sports in Male' in a night time fixture.

Biss Buru Sports Club won their game last night against Dhidhdhoo with a score of 1-0 at the Galolhu Stadium.

This is Biss Buru Sports Club's first DPL win of the season. National football team coach István Urbányi said on Saturday night that he believes Dhidhdhoo can compete against other teams in the league.

The exciting game between the two teams saw Biss Buru's Nigerian forward Barnabas Friday score in the 74th minute.

With this match, the league enters a hiatus for the international break. After the league restarts, Dhidhdhoo will be playing the rest of their three matches on their home turf. Dhidhdhoo has the honor of hosting the DPL in Thiladhunmathi for the first time with the match set to be played on 10th October.

Dhidhdhoo will be playing against New Radiant in the match.
