ICE has announced the launch of three leagues on their network, the Saudi Pro League, LaLiga and the Premier League.

As per ICE, their aim is to livestream the three focal leagues that retain Maldivian viewership the most. They also said they have prepared three flagship shows for the upcoming season, which are Kick–off, Fanzone and Full-Time. The shows will be hosted by famous screen personalities Huwey, Eeman and Eesa, with Jawa and Maus focusing on expert analysis.

“This is going to be a monumental season of football following the World Cup and so many blockbuster transfers, and we are very excited about the growing number of football fans in the country. Our job is to make sure each and every fan never misses a moment of the season, on or off the pitch,” commented Head of Ice Network, Zihuny Rasheed.

ICE continues to state that the domestic league season is set to begin on 13th August, with the Saudi Pro League being the first to contest matches over the weekend. LaLiga’s first match will be played on 15th August, and the Premier League will kick off on 22nd August being played between Arsenal versus Coventry, said ICE. They have also announced that the LaLiga and Premier League will be available on ICE Ultra in UltraHD.

In commemoration of their launches, ICE Network held an event at the Medianet Front Office, where they showcased a promotional video in regards to the new direction sports media is moving towards, said ICE.
