New Radiant beat Odi Sports 5-3 in the Cup Winners' Cup on Thursday to secure a place in the final alongside Maziya.

The Cup Winners' Cup, which has returned after an 18-year hiatus, features Maziya, Odi Sports and New Radiant, who won three major tournaments last season, as well as fourth-placed Buru Sports.

New Radiant and Maziya have both secured their places in the final after winning their opening two matches. Both teams have six points, with the result of their remaining group match determining the final standings.

New Radiant's Brazilian forward Dorielton Gomes, (Dory), scored a hat-trick for the second consecutive match, having also scored three goals against Buru Sports.

Dory opened the scoring in the fourth minute after Brazil midfielder Gilliam Silva's low shot from the edge of the box was turned into his path.

The combination between Dory and Silva has played an important role in New Radiant's campaign so far.

Dory scored his second goal after heading in a low cross from Liberian defender Albert Sven.

Young midfielder Ethan Zaki added New Radiant's third, controlling Silva's header at the edge of the box before sending the ball into the far corner.

Dory completed his hat-trick early in the second half, collecting a pass from Mohamed Naim before firing into the net.

Defender Amdhan Ali, known as ND, scored New Radiant's fifth goal in the 77th minute, heading in a corner from Silva.

Odi mounted a late comeback, scoring three times in the final minutes. Their first goal came from a penalty in the 87th minute, before Muzdhan Hassan scored in the 90th minute. Mohamed Shahaau added Odi's third in extra time.
