The final tournament for Club Maldives' season this year, the Sector League has begun.

The tournament began last night at the Rehendhi Turf, with 20 teams competing. The teams have been split into five groups. Group A and Group B matches took place last night.

The first match in Group A saw Club Veligaa beat Team Fly Beond 8-0. The second match saw Male' Aerated Water Company's Team MAWC beat the 2025 semi finalist team for MIB, MIBSA 1-0.

Group B's first match was played between Maco RC and Happy Market, with Maco winning 4-1.

The second match was played between Club Localture, and the runner-up team of the 2025 Sector League and the 2026 Kings Cup Hawks. Hawks won the match 3-0. During last year's quarter final, Localture was eliminated by Hawks.

The tournament was created specifically for private companies and different sectors, and was introduced by Club Maldives in 2025. Last year's tournament had 15 teams compete, with Arena winning the champion title. This year, Arena is playing in Group D.

The Sector League is the seventh tournament being held by Club Maldives this year, with the Kings Cup kicking off the 2026 season. STELCO won the champion title in the Kings Cup. Aspire Academy won the newly introduced Kidsal tournament for youth players. The Eighteen Thirty tournament was won by WAMCO, and the Eighteen Thirty Classic was won by HDC.

The Club Maldives Cup Classic was claimed by Binara, while RRC was named the champion team in the Club Maldives Cup.
