Club HDC, in its debut appearance in the Club Maldives Eighteen Thirty Classic tournament, has emerged champions without conceding a single match.

The final match played at the Rehendhi Turf Ground last night ended with Club HDC winning 4-2 against STELCO Recreation Club. 

In the fifth minute of the match, Shahula Thaufeeq scored STELCO's first goal and took the lead. However, HDC's Firushana Naseer scored an equalizer less than a minute after this.

With three minutes left in the first half, Fathimath Saliya scored another goal, securing a lead for HDC. 

Seven minutes into the second half, Saliya netted a second goal. Two minutes later, STELCO's Shahula scored another goal, attempting to narrow the difference. However, STELCO were not able to score any more goals in the match. 

With just a minute left in the game, HDC went on to score their final goal. This goal was shot by Player of the Match Firushana.

The Eighteen Thirty Classic had nine teams participating this year. The tournaments group stages saw the teams split into two groups. HDC is the only team who won all group stage matches. They secured a spot in the finals through winning against STO in the semifinals. STELCO, meanwhile, went to the finals after beating reigning champions Prisons Club.

Top Scorer of the Tournamanet was Saliya, who had 10 goals to her name. She was also crowned Player of the Tournament. 

Best Five Players were Saliya, HDC's Firushana, Aminath Risala, STELCO's Shahula and Mariyam Zana Sameer. 

Fairplay Player of the Tournament went to Prisons Club's Fathimath Inasha Adam, while her team Prisons were chosen as Fairplay Team. 

The Most Promising Player of the Tournament was Youth, Sports and Fitness Ministry's YSF team's Aishath Mareesha. 

HDC's Faruhadh Ismail was recognized at Best Coach, while HDC was also chosen Best Supporting Team.
